24-year-old car racing driver William Byron could not have had a better time judging from the start of his career and the TV ratings and high track attendance of NASCAR. The NASCAR Cup Series driver signed a three-year contract with Hendrick Motorsports. He will retain 24 drivers for Chevrolet during the 2025 season.
However, NASCAR’S current 10-year TV deal expires at the end of the 2024 season and will create an environment for Byron to negotiate his bargain. The Next Generation Cars started with many promotions in this season’s Cup Serie.
The new season began with a bang with the preseason Clash held at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. As the sport’s interest in the game has received a much-needed revival, newcomer Byron, a relative of NASCAR, also seems to be finding his groove.
He said he feels a big change is taking place in his game, really a change for the better. We are succeeding further in reality in sports. They think it will be interesting to see how excited fans are to see the race as a sport, how it is rated on TV, and all that stuff.
