Chris Hemsworth, who has characterized Marvel superhero Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe for eight films over 11 years, may ultimately do with the role, or so he says. In a recent conversation, Chris indicated that the forthcoming Thor: Love and Thunder might be the last time he plays the God of Thunder in the franchise. Chris had expressed the same feeling earlier, saying that his enthusiasm for the role was dwindling.
Chris debuted in 2011 as Thor in the film of the same name. It was Chris’ first vital film role. PrioBefores, the actor had only made a cameo in the 2009 film Star Trek. He has also appeared in two solo movies and the Avengers films over the years, making him one of the most famous characters in the world.
In a conversation with Wired, when asked about his final Marvel film, Chris said, “Well, the last shot I shot was Thor: Love and Thunder, and this might be my last Marvel film. “I don’t know. It was wild.. and an entertaining and abnormal experience, as are all Taika Waititi movies.” Taika Waititi is returning to direct Love and Thunder after running 2019 hit Thor: Ragnarok, the third solo Thor film in the MCU.
