Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield is leading back to his abandoned Oklahoma drumming grounds this weekend. And he has a statement for the nation. Taking to Twitter, Mayfield did his video recording at the Oklahoma football facility.
He was very excited to convene retired players before starting Saturday’s spring game. He said he was very excited to gaze at all of them this weekend. Mayfield said that this went to be an incredible weekend with many former players.
At the halftime of the game, Oklahoma will be presenting a statue in front of Mayfield. It is believed that when he does that program, there is the most probability of possession of the crowd there. After retiring from Texas Tech, Baker Mayfield enrolled in Oklahoma in 2014. In 2015, he became the Sooners’ starter and instantly served as one of the most creative passers in the school record.
In 2015 and 2016, Mayfield completed his Heisman trophy journey in the top four. But In 2017, he won the Heisman trophy. He departed Oklahoma as their No.2 all-time dominating passer but still carries the Oklahoma records for passing yards and passing touchdowns per game. Mayfield still has a record of Oklahoma with the most credible points with 137. He also wields the top three ratings for the entire offense per game.
