This Weekend, Arch Manning Will Make Another

Arch Manning, the No. 1 overall pick, will pay an unofficial visit to Alabama’s Crimson Tide this weekend. Chad Simmons, On3’s Director of Recruitment, says that the five-star quarterback’s visit is an important step in his meticulously planned process of getting a college football job.

Manning recently made back-to-back unofficial visits to Georgia and Texas. Manning is also planning to travel with the LSU Tigers later this spring. Manning’s desire to join the Crimson Tide has reportedly waned slightly, as Texas remains his top choice. With a successful trip to Athens, it’s possible that this is Nick Saban’s last chance to land the highly rated quarterback.

“This is an important trip for Arch and Alabama,” Simmons added. Trips to Georgia and Texas have generated a great deal of excitement for both schools. There is a sense that the two schools may have an advantage over Alabama, and this trip is critical for both teams. ” Alabama insider Joseph Hastings of On3 concurred with this statement.

“This is going to be a pivotal visit for Alabama,” Hastings said. According to all accounts, the Longhorns’ trip to Texas was as successful as they could have hoped.Alabama’s best chances to win the Five-Star Plus quarterback are Texas and Georgia, a college Manning visited earlier this month.

“Arch Manning remains the priority,” the coach stated. “This visit will play a significant role in determining Alabama’s fate in Manning’s selection.” What they do after the visit will undoubtedly reveal how they feel about their relationship with Manning.”
