Arden Key, a veteran defensive lineman, has been signed by the Jacksonville Jaguars. The announcement was released by the group on Wednesday. Having been selected by the Raiders in the second round of the 2018 draught, Key has played his first three seasons in the black and silver. When the San Francisco 49ers signed Key in 2021, he was an LSU alumnus.
Key was an important reserve. Despite only playing in all 16 games, Key recorded 22 tackles, including a career-high 6.5 for loss. With the Jaguars, Key has agreed to terms on a one-year deal worth up to $7 million, as reported by ESPN’s Mike Garafolo.
The Jaguars have spent a lot of money on free agents, acquiring proven players like offensive lineman Brandon Scherff, wide receivers Christian Kirk and Zay Jones, cornerback Darious Williams, and linebacker Foye Oluokun, following a 3-14 season that finished 3-14.
